BIRTH FOR 30: OPINION OF DOCTORS
Pregnancy is a condition that is given to a woman by nature. It is necessary to understand that the world is not in place and people, respectively, those criteria and features of the course of pregnancy that were 10-20 years ago cannot be applied to modern times.
All over the world there is a tendency to give birth after 30. This is due to many factors. The female organism also undergoes certain changes according to the conditions of its existence. The woman is now trying to make a career, and only then calmly enter the role of mother. If we talk about health, then unfortunately our ecology does not have the best effect on people, and this applies to both 25 year old and 35 year old women and men. Faced with the problems of pregnancy in women, I can say that men are more adversely affected … The majority of women in 35 are still very young.
Worldwide, age 30-35 is considered normal for pregnancy. If there are risk factors, a woman after 35 may be referred for additional genetic counseling.
At any age, pregnancy requires some preparation – taking vitamins, examining both partners for the presence of chronic diseases or a condition that can affect the course of pregnancy and childbirth.
To date, women in 30-35 do not belong to the category of late. This age is revised. More attention is paid to pregnancies after 40, since most often these pregnancies occur after long years of infertility and require really more attention and examination.
In general, you should always remember that pregnancy is a physiological state of mind and body.
Indeed, many of the interviewed women in labor noted that they had not experienced any problems with age in Ukrainian clinics. Unfortunately, almost all of them talked about private clinics, and not about public ones.
Olya: I was lucky with the gynecologist, she led me even from 28 years old and I occasionally asked her questions on this topic, and she calmed me and told me how you want a child and give birth to it.
Julia: In the hospital, too, no one mentioned the age, and in the antenatal clinic there were no questions. It seems that pregnancy after 30 is becoming commonplace.
Ksenia: Registered the only thing that was done additionally because of age was a consultation with a geneticist. Anyone who is over 35 is necessary. The rest is a great attitude and not a word “where you were before.” If a woman is healthy and there are no contraindications – this is all ok. In the maternity hospital, too, no one called the aged. Good attitude and no hints. I was given a caesarean section, not because of age, but because of the position of the fetus. In general, only positive memories.
It seems that medicine has gone far beyond the prejudices of many. And this is good news, because the main thing is a healthy mother and a happy baby!
